8:30 in the morning found us bidding farewell to our gracious hosts in western New York as we boarded our faithful bus and began our 5 1/2 hour trek back to Lancaster.
After a late breakfast at Burger King and Dunkin’ Donuts around 10:30 we continued our travel, arriving in Lancaster around 4:00 to grab a quick supper and change into our concert attire before heading to Beimesderfer Hall for our second to last concert.
After spending some quality rehearsal time in our lovely evening venue ironing out the various quirks and wrinkles in our filing in and out, we met in the back for a light snack and a brief time of prayer and quietness before our concert at 7:00.
We had a lovely time singing to a great receptive audience. Thank you to everyone who came out despite the ferocious downpours that insisted on thoroughly soaking any one who dared venture outside.
After a program and connecting with various audience friends we headed back to our hosts for a hopefully long and restful night of sleep before diving into recording at 9 o’clock tomorrow.
